Dogecoin (DOGE): What It Is & Information
Dogecoin is an open-source peer-to-peer digital cryptocurrency, favored by Shiba Inus worldwide.
This altcoin has started and been created originally as a joke, referencing a picture or better so say a mascot about a funny-looking Shiba Inus dog that gained worldwide popularity on the internet & investors.
Yet, since its creation, the cryptocurrency’s popularity and value have exploded and skyrocket. A massive online community has developed over the years with many loyal fans of Dogecoin.
The community has done some incredible things with Dogecoin and its popularity is simply incredible so far.
Dogecoin has reached over $1 billion in capitalization. Despite its tongue-in-cheek beginning, Dogecoin is literally going to the Moon, really.
Thanks to crowdfunding efforts, a gold coin representing the cryptocurrency is scheduled to reach the moon surfaces in 2019.
Compared with other cryptocurrencies, Dogecoin had a fast initial coin production schedule: 100 billion coins were in circulation by mid-2015, with an additional 5.256 billion coins every year after that.
Note: 1 Shibe = 0.00000001 DOGE | Shibe was discussed of the Dogecoin Reddit Account 2014 and from there 1 Shibe is the smallest Unit of 1 Doge
Therefore 1 DOGE = One Hundred Million Shibes
